Can I use Verizon USB Prepaid Broadband in a PC?

by Kathy

I would like to use prepaid broadband with my PC, since I can only get dial up where I live.

Will Verizon's or any other provider's USB device work with a pc?

Yes, so long as you have a PC with USB, and that supports the minimum PC requirements, it should work! That's actually one of the beauties about USB prepaid broadband devices compared to PC Card or Express Card modems, which can only be used on laptops with supporting slots (without buying additional hardware to enable use on a standard desktop PC).

Assuming you have good Verizon 3G broadband coverage where you live, you will notice much better performance than dial-up; yikes!
