Page Plus Tex Messaging Bundles for Heavy Users
2,000 messages for $10.95 or 5,000 messages for $19.95.  One of the only providers to offer text message bundles on classic PAYG plans.  Perhaps a good deal for some users; thoughts?

$30 gets you 1000 minutes, 1000 texts/MMS, and 30 MB of data over Verizon's network.  Although availability is still limited, I think this is a new plan worth getting excited about.  For many of us, 1000 minutes and 1000 texts is mre than sufficient, and a better value than going with a fully unlimited plan.

Why Carriers Are Resisting Prepaid or Are They? (source article removed)
By PJ Louis
Despite some carriers believing that prepaid does not offer a profitable business model, it really is here to stay, and one only needs to look at Europe to see how prominent and successful it is.  Definitely a good article to spur discussion!

Market Wire (press release) - USA
Many are voicing concerns over Virgin's pricing of their broadband plans (i.e. too high!), however, generally, this new entrant is great news for the prepaid broadband market, and for customers in general.

MetroPCS: Unlimited International Calling For $5
New York
, NY, USA

MetroPCS launches international voice calling bundle.  For many it offers significant value.  Just don't forget to read the small print, because not all countries are included, and there are differences between calling mobile and landline phones.
