I have a Safelink phone but the screen on my phone says "you have 37 service days left. What's up with that?

SafeLink Free Prepaid Cell Phones Expiration Date
by: PrepaidWirelessGuy

Good question. I don’t think you need to worry about that message. I think it’s a defect. Normal prepaid accounts have an expiration date where funds expire. Prepaid companies often have expiration dates (ex. on monthly plans) that have no meaning, but they’re there b/c the system requires that there be an expiration date. They usually mask these system expiration dates where they don't have meaning to the user. In this case, it really appears to be a "glitch."

With your SafeLink account, you’ll get your free minutes each month, so you shouldn’t have to worry about an expiration date.

If you’re really concerned, you can call them, but if you don’t want to bother, I think you’ll be ok!
