I am trying to find out if any of the U.S. plans get coverage in Yucatan Mexico?

I've have people inquire about this before and done some research on this topic. I couldn't find any of the U.S. prepaid broadband providers that allowed roaming outside of the U.S. I suspect that it's too costly for them to support. They would need to have roaming agreements, as well as billing/rating relationships that would allow the non-U.S. carrier to get paid for the data usage from the U.S. provider. In the prepaid world this can be found for voice, but I haven't seen this happen yet with prepaid mobile broadband.

I suspect that it's only a matter of time before this is offered. Offering it for certain regions in Mexico in particular would seem to be a great market opportunity.

If anyone has discovered this capability is available, please let us know!

In the meantime, MobilityPass offers a prepaid Internet option; you can find them listed here: Worldwide Internet Access

Or, for those looking for access in a particular country, you can check out: Pay As You Go Broadband. Unfortunately Mexico is not yet available.
