How to Choose?

How to choose?  So now that you've determined that you're bound for prepaid, and you understand the plan types, how do you go about choosing the wireless provider and plan combination that's right for you?  There are numerous things that are important to different people.  I've chosen to focus on four areas that I believe are the most common concerns:

1.    Determine how much you use your phone, and the payment flexibility you want.

  • Depending on your average usage, and how much money you want to spend, and when you want to spend it, you'll be bound for one of the following plans.  Once you're reviewed the the Plan Types overview, use this section ti help you with some tips and questions to ask yourself as you evaluate your the options provided by carriers in your area.
    • Monthly Bound

3.    Determine how important network quality is to you.

4.    Determine how important network technology is to you.

Here's a good resource that offers a prepaid wireless plan comparison chart.  I have no affiliation with this website.  I just believe that it offers a very good summary of what service plans the major players are currently offering, and can help you in your quest to determine how to choose.  Remember to use resources like this as a starting point, but always check each provider's website for the latest and greatest.  From what I can tell, this website is well maintained and is a really good comparison reference.
